In reply to sakifa. As crazy as it may sound, add a slice of white bread to the container of cookies. The bread gives up its moisture to allow the cookies to last a bit longer.

Pretty good! I added 1tsp of cinnamon and used dark & milk chocolate chips. Would bake for 11 minutes on the first tray of cookies.

I’ve made this recipe for a few years. I’m almost certain there was a note about measuring the flour in grams and how much you used. Did you update the recipe and delete that note? Could you tell me the range of grams for the flour from the original It worked great for me!

These are amazing! I made them for my family and I ended up eating half and I usually can pass on cookies..but these are the best I’ve ever had…I did one thing. I chilled the dough overnight bc I was too tired to bake them…and I used mini chocolate chips bc my kids love them.
Great recipe! I used to work for The Grand Lux and they are owned by The Cheesecake Factory- they make chocolate chip cookies that were the best I’d ever had- until this recipe!

I really enjoyed this recipe, it made delectable cookies, however, I followed all the ingredients and instructions to a T and found that my cookies became extremely hard after 2 days despite being stored correctly. Should I add less flour?

These are by far the best chocolate chip cookies I have ever made. Simple, and great that there’s no need to chill the dough in the process. I baked a batch for my high school students as a little thank you, and students came up after class to ask if they could take another for the road! The recipe yielded 33 small-to-medium sized cookies for me.
